Watch out for your carry-on bags

Dont ruin your vacation even before it even began! Before you start packing your bags, make sure that you are fully aware of the new airline rules and regulations as far as what is allowed as carry-on, what are the allowed sizes and weight of each bags.

Just recently, my brother lost a lot of money by packing expensive lotions (he bought as giveaways) in his carry-on bag! I heared in the news about a year ago that lotions, shampoos, toothpaste are no longer allowed in your airline carry-on bags. Unfortunately, I forgot to warn my brother about it, and he got caught off-guard at the airport and had to leave all lotions in the airport. He already check-in all his other bags and it was surely a hassle to go get to the queue and go through all the process all over again!

So if you plan to go on a trip by plane, it would probably save you a lot of time and money by knowing in advance what items are allowed and what are not as carry-on or check-ins. If you have not flawn within a year or so, chances are new set of rules have been added to the old ones. To verify these stuff, it would not hurt if you call your serving airline ahead of time, before you start packing so you can pack properly without encountering a problem at the airport. You do not really want to start a long-awaited trip with a headache in the airport .
